Energy Tips and Advices

INTRODUCTION
You can't get through your day without energy. The only thing more frustrating than feeling your energy level start to slump, is the feeling that there's nothing you can do about it. Long days with demands on our time can add to the feeling of fatigue. There are lifestyle choices that we can make everyday, that can have a positive effect on your energy levels and stamina. You don`t have to drag yourself throught the day!

SOME TIPS TO HELP

Sleep

Get the amount of sleep that is right for you. Every individual varies as to the amount of sleep needed, some require up to 8 hours. If you are feeling a lack of energy , try sleeping longer. Experiment with the length of time to find what works best.

Eating
Remember to eat breakfast. If you forget to eat breakfast, your metabolic rate drops slowly throughout the day. Your blood sugar may reach a low point, where your brain is being deprived of its primary fuel. Eat moderate meals and avoid eating one huge meal. Snacks like fruit may help curb your appetite between meals. Foods such as egg yolks, almonds, broccoli, and pork are rich sources of B vitamins, which are needed by the body for the production of energy.

Exercise
Physical exercise can be an energy booster and build endurance. Something as simple as a brisk walk to a place you would normally drive may help elevate your energy level. Exercise help maintains a healthy cardiovascular system too!

Now, here's the tough one. Stop using stimulants like coffee and sugary foods to keep you going. These foods cause metabolic changes that hurt your energy levels over time - NOT help them. When you quit, you may feel more sluggish for a while, But after a time, you`ll feel the difference. Good luck!*

Interesting facts about weight loss
It may be hard to believe but folks who think theyre getting weight-loss results from eating only one meal a day may be doing just the opposite. Research has shown that people who most of their calories in ONE sitting gain MORE weight than people who eat exactly the SAME amount of calories distributed evenly among six meals.
Smaller meals throughout the day keep the metabolism fires burning up more calories!**

Increasing Energy
Will ginseng increase your energy? Panax ginseng may provide a short term boost similar to that in a cup of coffee. Siberian ginseng may help you work under stressful conditions. Neither supplement will boost your energy resources to compare to that of a youngster. When ginseng does give the user a boost like caffiene, ginseng appears to take effect more gently and last longer. Use moderation in your use and choice of energy stimulants. The way to increase energy for the long hall is to use good nutrition, develop good rest patterns, and get regular exercise.***
